| So instead of buckling up yourself, you're proposing changing the entire structure of automobile insurance? The very nature of automobile insurance dictates that the many safe drivers will still suffer financially for the actions of an irresponsible few. Why consciously put yourself into that category by not wearing your seatbelt? This still boggles my mind. This does not come down to someone holding a gun to your head telling you to take safety precautions that will only benefit YOU in the short run, and all of us in the long run. If you choose not to buckle up, that is your choice alone. At least do it out of sheer carelessness and ignorance instead of trying to justify it to yourself by calling the whole "system" wrong. I never intended on arguing ethics of any kind with you. I saw some ridiculousness in your original post, and that is only echoed by your reply. Have a blessed day..
